On Autopilot is an Australian AI consultancy and managed AI provider based in Melbourne, Victoria. It is run by Boring Ventures Pty Ltd (ABN 67 671 943 758) and was founded by Jenn Yang, who is also the director of DotVA, an Australian virtual assistant agency. We build, run and keep improving AI systems that answer enquiries, chase leads and handle admin for Australian small and medium businesses, on Anthropic's Claude.
Builds start from $497, and managed AI is $1,500, $2,000 or $4,000 a month (AUD, ex GST). Every engagement starts with a free 30-minute AI audit with Jenn.

Jenn founded On Autopilot and is the person you deal with. She runs the free AI audit for every new enquiry, scopes each build and is the named contact on managed AI. She is also the director of DotVA, an Australian virtual assistant agency, where the same AI systems we sell are used every day: the lead pipeline that sorts the agency's enquiries and the internal platform it runs invoicing, payroll and onboarding on.
The guides on this site carry Jenn's name. Articles are researched and drafted with AI tools, checked against the primary sources linked on each page, and published under Jenn Yang's name as the person responsible for them. Their focus is practical AI for Australian small businesses: what to build first, what it costs in AUD, and where the regulated line sits for health, finance and legal work.
Who builds the systems? Ollie Watts, with Claude Code. He is not a developer by background: he works across marketing and operations for the group's businesses, and built Hey Bud Skincare's inventory system the same way. Jenn runs the audits; Ollie builds what comes out of them.
What does On Autopilot do?
We design, build and run AI agents for Australian SMBs. There are three ways to work with us: a one-off Quick Start build, one of six productised AI packages (AI Front Desk, AI Lead Engine, AI Content Engine, AI Inventory Watch, AI Bookkeeping Assist and Claude Code Setup Day), or managed AI, where we act as your outsourced AI department and look after all of your agents for a monthly fee. How we work
- Prices are published and fixed. No hourly billing. Scope changes are quoted before we do them.
- You own it. You own the code, prompts and settings from day one. While we run an agent it uses our hosting and our Claude API account, and that usage is included in the monthly fee. If you stop, we move it to hosting and an Anthropic account in your name so it keeps running. Retainers and monthly fees are month to month. There is no lock-in contract.
- People handle the judgement calls. Our agents hand urgent, unusual or sensitive matters to a person. We do not automate clinical, legal, financial or tax advice, and we are not a registered BAS or tax agent.
- We are straight about data. Claude runs on Anthropic's servers outside Australia. Each agent only sees the data its job needs, and we document what goes where so you can cover it in your privacy policy.
- No invented proof. We do not publish testimonials, client counts or ratings we cannot back up. Our case studies are our own businesses, and we say so.
How does On Autopilot make money?
From the AI builds and managed AI services on the pricing page. We do not use affiliate links, and no one pays us to recommend a tool.

How we research, source and correct what we publish is set out in our methodology. Spotted an error? Email editorial@onautopilot.com.au, naming the page and the problem, and we will fix it and date the correction.

A daily Shopify inventory system
At 6am every day (with a second run at 8:15pm) it syncs warehouse stock and Shopify sales, raises stock and reorder alerts, drafts purchase orders for a person to approve and puts a Claude-written daily brief on the dashboard. Critical problems are emailed. Built by Ollie Watts, who is not a developer, with Claude Code. AI Inventory Watch is based on it.
