Managed AI · the IT company for AI
Australia's outsourced AI department.
You outsource your IT. Now outsource your AI. We build the agents that run your admin, then we keep running them, monitoring them and shipping new ones, on a fixed monthly fee. The capability of an in-house AI team, without the hire.
Australian-owned. Month to month. You own the code and keys. Built by Jenn and the team.
Why a department, not a project
AI is not a one-off build. It is an operating layer.
The project trap
You pay for an AI build, it ships, it works, and everyone moves on. Three months later a tool changed underneath it, your business shifted, and nobody owns the thing. The value decays because no one is responsible for it. This is how most AI spend quietly dies.
The department model
An IT company owns your IT. We own your AI. We build it, we run it, we fix it when something breaks, we report on what it saved, and we keep shipping the next agent as the business grows. You get a partner who is accountable for the AI working, not a contractor who hands over and vanishes.
What an outsourced AI department actually does
Build. Run. Monitor. Improve. Report.
Build
New agents shipped on a cadence, scoped to the work that is actually costing you time and money this quarter.
Run
Your agents live on your stack and we keep them running. Uptime is our problem, not yours.
Monitor
We watch what the agents do, catch drift before you feel it, and keep them inside their guardrails.
Improve
Tools change, your business changes. We tune and re-train so the AI keeps pace instead of ageing out.
Report
A monthly briefing in plain English: what ran, what it saved in hours and dollars, and what we would build next.
Advise
A named contact who knows your business and tells you where AI helps and, just as often, where it does not.
Three ways to run it
Pick the size of your AI department.
Essential
$1,500 AUD/mo
One or two agents, run and kept healthy.
A solo operator or small team that wants the front desk and one workflow handled, monitored and improved, without managing it themselves.
- Up to 2 live agents run on your stack
- Monitoring + maintenance (we own uptime, not you)
- Monthly briefing: what ran, what it saved, what is next
- A named contact who knows your business
- Quarterly tune-up as your business shifts
Growth
$2,000 AUD/mo
Your AI layer, actively expanded each month.
A growing business that wants new automation shipped on a steady cadence, not a one-off project that ages out. The most common retainer.
- Everything in Essential
- Up to 4 live agents
- A new agent or material improvement shipped each month
- Priority build queue + faster turnaround
- Direct line to the team, not a ticket
Scale
$4,000 AUD/mo
A full outsourced AI department.
A multi-location or higher-volume business that would otherwise be hiring an in-house AI lead. You get the capability without the headcount.
- Everything in Growth
- Unlimited live agents within scope
- Roadmapped build-out across the whole business
- Custom builds (bespoke tooling, integrations, internal AI)
- Strategy sessions + a standing seat in your planning
Prices are AUD, ex-GST, month to month. Most businesses start with one productised build to prove value, then move onto a retainer. Final scope and price are confirmed on the free audit call. New to the model? Read the full guide: Managed AI and the AI department model.
The honest comparison
Versus the alternatives.
Before you commit
Managed AI questions.
How is a retainer different from just buying a productised build?
A productised build is a single agent shipped and handed over. A retainer is the ongoing relationship around it: we run it, monitor it, fix it when a tool changes underneath it, report on what it saved, and keep shipping the next agent. Most businesses start with one build to prove the value, then move to a retainer once they want the whole thing owned rather than managed by them.
Am I locked in?
No. Retainers are month to month after an initial settling period. You own the code, the prompts, the configs and the API keys from day one of any build, not month six. If you stop, we transition hosting and Claude API keys to your team and your agents keep running on your own infrastructure. No hostage situations.
Why a monthly fee instead of paying per build?
Because AI is not a project, it is an operating layer. Tools change, your business changes, and an agent that was perfect in March needs attention by June. A retainer means someone owns that, the way an IT company owns your IT. You get a partner who is responsible for the AI working, not a contractor who disappears after handover.
What does "a named contact" actually mean?
You deal with a person who knows your business, your stack and your agents, not a ticket queue or a rotating offshore team. For Essential that is your monthly point of contact; for Growth and Scale it is a direct line. Everything is invoiced through Boring Ventures Pty Ltd (ABN 67 671 943 758), an Australian company.
Can I move up or down a tier?
Yes, any month. Most businesses start on Essential or Growth, then move up as they see what the AI layer is worth. If a quiet quarter means you need less, you move down. We would rather keep you on the right tier than lose you to the wrong one.
Do you replace my IT company or my staff?
No. We are the AI layer, not your IT support or your team. We work alongside your existing IT, and our whole model is to take the repetitive work off your people so they do the work only humans should. Where a regulated line exists in your industry, the licensed or registered work always stays with your qualified people.
